The 3rd IPAL transnational meeting in Athens
The 3rd transnational meeting of the IPAL project was held in a hybrid mode on 3 & 4 November 2021. The meeting took place in Athens, Greece and was hosted by the Academy of Entrepreneurship in its premises.
During the 2-days meeting, partners discussed about the finalisation of output 1- self assessment for adult education providers with regards to CPD and the progress of output 2 – 8 modules, valuable for adult trainers. With regards to the training modules, partners are in the process for finalising the training material which will be then transformed in a digital formal on the IPAL e-learning platform.
Furthermore, an action plan for the next output of the project was put in place as well as a review of the dissemination and quality assurance management activities.
Towards the end of first day of the meeting, the IPAL consortium had the opportunity to meet local stakeholders, active trainers in the Adult Education sector in Greece. The interventions by Mr. Konstantinos Bourletidis from Apopsi Group and Mr. Konstantinos Makras, certified trainer in Hospitality and Management were inspiring and constructive for all attendees, as they raised some important issues in Adult Education – among others, the demand for innovative training methodologies and certification schemes for trainers.
